About me

I am a Spanish artist working with collage and mixed media. My work explores the expressive possibilities of materiality, color, and form.

I am interested in creating works that move beyond the two-dimensional surface. Through the layering of paper and other materials, I build compositions in which volume and shadows become an active part of the image. Light alters each piece, generating subtle variations in its perception and allowing the work to change according to the place and moment from which it is viewed.

My visual language is rooted in the simplification of forms and in the balance between geometry, texture, and color. I seek a refined aesthetic in which every element occupies its necessary place and nothing feels superfluous.

Although my work is developed within the realm of abstraction, it retains a strong material presence. I am interested in the viewer's awareness of the physicality of the artwork, the immediacy of its textures, and the relationship between the different layers that compose it.

Each piece emerges from a process of construction and reduction, in which material not only shapes the image but also becomes an essential part of its meaning.

I was born in Segovia, Spain, in 1969. I currently live and work in Logroño.
